Meet the Guide Behind Aven Hollow
Healing isn't a destination we arrive at alone.
Aven Hollow was created to offer a compassionate space where trauma-informed healing, meaningful self-discovery, and lasting transformation come together. My role isn't to tell you who you should become—it's to help you reconnect with the person you've always been beneath survival, self-doubt, and old patterns.
My Journey
People often ask what led me to this work.
The answer isn't a single moment.
It's a lifelong journey toward understanding how our experiences shape us—and how healing becomes possible.
Like many people, my own path has been marked by experiences that left lasting wounds. For years, I searched for answers, trying to understand why certain patterns, emotions, and struggles continued to influence my life. That search wasn't driven by curiosity alone. It was born from a deep desire to understand my own story and to find a way back to wholeness.
As I began exploring trauma, neuroscience, psychology, and holistic healing, something profound shifted.
I realized that so many of the ways we think, feel, and respond to the world are not signs that something is wrong with us. They are often intelligent adaptations to experiences that required us to survive.
That understanding changed everything.
Instead of asking, "What's wrong with me?" I began asking, "What happened to me, and how did those experiences shape the way I move through the world?"
That question became the beginning of my own healing.
It also became the foundation of Aven Hollow.
Today, my work is rooted in the belief that healing doesn't begin with self-judgment. It begins with compassionate understanding. By honoring the connections between our mind, body, nervous system, and lived experiences, we create the conditions for lasting transformation.
I don't believe healing is about becoming someone new.
I believe it's about gently uncovering the person you've always been beneath survival, self-protection, and the patterns that no longer serve you.
My role isn't to tell you who you should become.
It's to walk beside you as you discover that for yourself.
Because I know what it's like to long for wholeness.
And I believe that, with understanding, compassion, and the right support, healing is possible.
Why Aven Hollow Exists
Aven Hollow was born from a simple belief:
Healing begins with understanding.
For too long, many of us have been taught to see our anxiety, emotional struggles, relationship patterns, or self-doubt as problems to fix. We search for quick answers, hoping to eliminate the symptoms without ever understanding the experiences that created them.
I believe there is another way.
Rather than asking, "What's wrong with me?" I believe healing begins by asking, "What happened to me?"
That shift changes everything.
When we begin to understand how trauma, chronic stress, attachment wounds, and life experiences have shaped our nervous system, beliefs, and patterns, we can replace self-judgment with self-compassion. The behaviors that once felt confusing often begin to make sense.
Understanding doesn't erase the past.
But it creates the foundation for meaningful and lasting change.
At Aven Hollow, I don't believe healing is about becoming someone new or chasing perfection. I believe it's about gently uncovering the person you've always been beneath survival strategies, protective patterns, and the beliefs that no longer reflect who you are today.
This is why my work brings together trauma-informed care, evidence-informed approaches, and holistic healing. Lasting transformation doesn't happen by addressing only the mind or only the body. Healing becomes most meaningful when we honor the whole person—mind, body, nervous system, emotions, and spirit.
My hope is that every person who arrives at Aven Hollow leaves with one simple truth:
You are not broken.
Your story matters.
Your experiences make sense.
And healing is possible.
My Approach to Healing
🌿 Trauma-Informed
Healing begins with safety.
Many of the patterns we carry today were once intelligent ways of protecting ourselves. Rather than asking what's wrong with you, we begin by understanding what happened and how your experiences shaped the way you relate to yourself and the world.
Every step forward begins with compassion, not judgment.

🧠 Evidence-Informed
Understanding creates possibility.
The fields of psychology, neuroscience, and trauma research continue to deepen our understanding of how the brain, nervous system, and body respond to adversity—and how healing can occur throughout our lives.
I believe in integrating evidence-informed knowledge with practical, compassionate care so that healing is both meaningful and grounded.

🌙 Holistic
Healing involves the whole person.
Our thoughts, emotions, nervous system, physical body, relationships, and sense of purpose are deeply connected. Lasting transformation happens when we recognize those connections rather than treating each part in isolation.
My approach honors the whole of who you are.

🍃 Personalized
Your journey is uniquely your own.
No two healing journeys look exactly alike.
Rather than following a rigid formula, I meet you where you are, honoring your experiences, your pace, and your goals. Together, we create a path that feels supportive, sustainable, and aligned with the person you are becoming.
Healing isn't about fitting into someone else's process.
It's about discovering the one that helps you come home to yourself.

🌙 Closing
At the heart of everything I do is one simple belief:
Healing begins with understanding.
When we replace self-judgment with curiosity, create safety for the nervous system, and honor the wisdom of our lived experiences, meaningful change becomes possible.
Education, Training & Professional Development
My work is grounded in both lived experience and a lifelong commitment to learning.
I believe that supporting another person's healing journey is both a privilege and a responsibility. That's why I've pursued education and specialized training across trauma-informed coaching, hypnosis, energy healing, intuitive development, and holistic wellness.
Rather than relying on a single modality, I bring together evidence-informed understanding with intuitive wisdom to support healing that honors the whole person—mind, body, nervous system, emotions, and spirit.
Every experience has deepened my belief that lasting healing isn't about fixing who we are. It's about understanding ourselves with compassion and creating the conditions where meaningful transformation can unfold.

For those who are open to it, intuitive guidance can offer another way of exploring personal growth, self-awareness, and healing. A Commitment to Lifelong Learning
Healing is an evolving journey, and so is my commitment to learning.
I continue to study trauma, neuroscience, psychology, nervous system regulation, holistic healing, and spiritual development because I believe those who guide others should remain lifelong students themselves.
Every book, course, conversation, and experience continues to deepen the way I support the people who entrust me with their healing journey.
The Path That Shapes My Work
Beyond my work as a trauma-informed holistic healing practitioner, I'm someone who finds meaning in quiet places, lifelong learning, and the stories woven throughout nature.
Some of my greatest moments of reflection have happened while walking beneath old trees, sitting beside still water, or simply allowing myself to slow down enough to listen.
Nature has always reminded me that healing doesn't rush.
The oldest forests don't grow overnight.
The strongest trees weather countless seasons.
And every winding path eventually leads somewhere worth discovering.
That wisdom has become part of the way I approach healing.
I believe our own journeys unfold in much the same way—not in straight lines or perfect timelines, but through seasons of growth, rest, uncertainty, and renewal.
I'm also deeply drawn to history, mythology, and the enduring wisdom found in ancient traditions. The symbolism of labyrinths, forests, and forgotten paths has long inspired me because they remind us that transformation has always been part of the human story.
Those inspirations quietly shape Aven Hollow.
They influence the way I write, the way I guide others, and the environment I hope to create—a place that feels thoughtful, grounded, and safe enough for genuine healing to unfold.
When I'm not working with clients or writing for The Library, you'll usually find me learning something new, exploring the outdoors, or reflecting on the ways science, spirituality, and nature can come together to help us better understand ourselves.
Because I believe healing isn't simply something we do.
It's a lifelong relationship with ourselves.
If you ever find yourself walking through an old forest...
Pause for a moment.
Notice how the tallest trees didn't grow in perfect conditions.
They weathered storms.
Adapted to changing seasons.
Bent without breaking.
And yet they continue reaching toward the light.
I believe people are much the same.
